I have been performing magic since 1994, when I bought my first magic trick and became an 8-year-old aspiring magician. My older brother and two of our best friends also took up magic at that time. Together we worked on our art and critiqued each other’s performances. We put on shows constantly, mainly for family and friends.

When I was about 10-years-old, I went to Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas to watch one of my favorite magicians, Jeff McBride perform at Caesar’s Magical Empire. During the show, he surprisingly brought me on stage in front of his very large audience to “help” him perform some of his illusions. After the performance he gave me a personalized magic wand and told me he was passing it on from one magician to another and to never give up on my goals and aspirations as a magician. I still have this wand today. Over the years I have had the pleasure of meeting my favorite stage magician, Lance Burton several times. These close encounters with the best of the best in magic inspired me to keep working on my magic and never give it up.

In junior high, I began performing magic for my friends at school and before long, students I had never met before and even teachers were approaching me asking to see my magic.

One month after turning 13-years-old, when I became of age, I auditioned for the Magic Castle Junior Program at the world-famous Magic Castle in Hollywood, CA. I passed the audition and became a member of the Magic Castle Junior Program, the most prestigious group of its kind. Top magicians between the ages of 13-21 from all across the state of California attended the monthly meetings where I was able to converse and learn from the other members, attend lectures from the best magicians in the world, and perform magic workshops for the entire group where they would provide helpful critiquing to improve my performances. This provided me with the best environment any magician could ask for to hone their skills. I stayed a member in good standing for eight years, until turning 21 and leaving the group due to age restrictions.

Over the years I have performed in many venues, both with and without my brother and magician friends. I have performed at birthday parties, business parties, conventions, Chamber of Commerce, school fairs, restaurants, and magic competitions.

When I am not doing magic, I keep myself very busy. I work as a Veterinary Assistant at Commonwealth Animal Hospital in Fullerton, CA. I am also a Business student at Cal State Fullerton. My other hobbies include playing the guitar and bass in various bands and playing professional tournament poker. I like to relax by listening to music, watching movies, and reading.
